French duo Air has finished its San Francisco run at The Masonic, but the Nob Hill venue has one of its busiest fall calendars in years. Rock, R&B, country and comedy shows are all coming up over the next few weeks.

The Masonic was built in 1958 as a Masonic temple and later became one of the city's favorite mid-size concert halls. It holds about 3,300 people. The sloped floor and wraparound balcony keep sightlines good from almost every seat, and the large mosaic window in the lobby is worth a look on your way in.

Coming up: comedian Daniel Sloss, Rise Against with Alkaline Trio, Shaboozey and R&B legends Jodeci. The Chicks play two nights at the end of October, and Tom Jones, Gnarls Barkley and Chelsea Handler follow in November.

The venue is at the top of Nob Hill on California Street, so the California cable car line is a fun way to arrive. Parking nearby is limited and expensive, so public transit or a rideshare is usually the easier choice.

See the full schedule, seating chart and prices on our The Masonic tickets page. Shows here often sell out because of the venue's size, so book early.
