Guthrie Green sits on land that was once a truck loading facility, and its transformation into an open lawn with a covered stage, shade trees and interactive fountains helped spark the revival of the surrounding Tulsa Arts District. The park takes its name from Woody Guthrie, the Oklahoma-born folk singer whose songs shaped generations of American musicians, and the Woody Guthrie Center stands right across the street.
